I sit here on the computer this morning, still working on my coding lessons but my mind is somewhere else. Today would be my grandfather’s birthday if he hadn’t passed away this year. His funeral was on my birthday, and it was one of the saddest days of my life. He was a wonderful man and a great role model. I feel the most horrible for my grandma. They were married for over 60 years and she is just lost without him. I’ll be calling to check on her today, because I know that today will be really tough.
I’ll keep pushing through today, because I do have tons of stuff to do. Tomorrow will be better because my angel is watching over me.

Today…I, Erin Daye…am trying to learn computer coding. You may say, why in the world do you need to learn this (which is what I said), but knowledge is power (or so I’m told…lol). I really do need to learn how to do some of this site stuff myself, so I can do more out on the road or when I want something done right now. It’s been awhile since I’ve tried to wrap my head around something so complicated. I know I’ll learn it; it’ll just take a while. Ok…you can say it…”don’t be a whiner”.
To completely change the subject…my friend Jean, of JeanSwings, got a Wii as an early Christmas present. I went to visit her yesterday and we played bowling, baseball, boxing and tennis until we were exhausted. What a cool game system! I have seen them advertised, but have never played one before. I hear that they are hard to find, but now I’m on a mission. I want one!
I have even convinced myself that I can use this as a form of exercise too.
Do any of you have a Wii? What do you think about it? I’d love to hear your feedback while I’m internet searching for one.

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday. A long weekend filled with friends and family…food and football…naps and naps. Thanksgiving day was very busy for me with all the company I hosted. Several family members decided to stay over and we all sat up until late in the night visiting and catching up. Friday morning, I made a huge breakfast for everyone and then most everyone went home by lunch.
I napped Friday afternoon and tried to sleep off all the over eating…does snoring burn calories? Lol. Saturday, I went to a football game with some friends…you may have heard about it on TV… LSU vs Kentucky. The end result was not what I hoped for, but damn what a game. OT after OT. I had planned to head back home after the game was over, but it was too late and I was too tired, so I stayed over with my friends.
This morning, I got up early and headed home. Today has been a work day, but I managed to keep my eye on a few games. I watched Chicago and Denver…and saw Chicago pull a miracle. If they could only manage to play a whole game like they did the last 10 minutes of that one, they’d be undefeated.
I’ll be headed to bed early tonight, as this is going to be a busy travel and work week. I have lots to get accomplished before Christmas, when I’ll be taking a three week vacation before AVN.
Have a great night and a wonderful Monday am!

Monday, Monday, Monday….It’s currently 6:30am and I’ve already been up for an hour. It’s the week of Thanksgiving and I have so much to do to get ready. When my mind gets busy, it’s really hard for me to sleep. I’m finalizing the menu, but need to follow-up with the cleaning service to confirm their appointment for tomorrow. The landscape company should be here at 8a to clean up the leaves and do some last minute landscaping touches on the yard. I’m supposed to meet with the interior decorator tomorrow morning, who will help me with decorating and go over the quotes with me on remodeling the kitchen, living room and master bath. And that just scratches the surface for the month…damn, I need a monster orgasm. It was such a busy weekend that I didn’t masturbate or get to have sex at all. Believe me…I will find time to take care of both of those things today. I need orgasms to keep my head clear, and I’m sadly short on those the last few days. Guess I just issued myself a challenge….find a way to catch up on my O’s today…maybe I’ll do a warm up in front of the window while the landscapers are here, and then I can encourage one or more of the guys to take a break to come in to play for awhile.
Sounds like a plan!

Hey guys and gals,
I tried several times this past week to post, but everytime I sat down and got started I was called away to go do something else or I got tied up on the phone. I spent the last five days in Chicago, doing shoots, visiting friends and generally staying very busy. The weather was great (unseasonably warm and sunny) through Tuesday, but then a huge cold front blew in and burrrrrrr it was windy and cold. Wednesday night there was even a few snow flurries. I know the weather is supposed to be like that this time of year, but I’m just not ready (but that doesn’t seem to keep it from coming).
Now I’m back home and trying to get my home together and my menu planned for Thanksgiving. I talked to my family and we’re going to have it here in my new house this year. I’m really excited…but have tons to get done. I’m sure you all have either cooking or traveling to do this coming week too. Thanksgiving starts the holiday season and reminds us to be thankful for our friends, family and all the blessings we have; and should also remind us to reach out to others who may not have been blessed as we have.

One of my special members sent me an early Christmas present. We had been talking about exercise and I was bummed that my treadmill was damaged beyond repair in my recent move. When I got home yesterday…low and behold…there was a new treadmill in a box delivered on my back porch. What a special surprise! I put it to good use this morning, and no, I don’t mean I hung my clothes on it…lol.
Thank you soooooooooo much. It made my day, and be sure that I’ll be sure to thank you appropriately when I see you in Chicago!

I hope you all had a great weekend. I did… I have found a place for everything in my new home and actually had some friends and family over yesterday to watch the football games and the race. We had barbeque sandwiches and ribs, and tons of snacks. We ended up eating ourselves into a stupor and some people crashed out on the couches for a nap. I know it doesn’t sound exciting, but it was nice for me to welcome people into my new house and have a day to sit down and visit and watch TV without doing any house sorting or computer work. It was a really great day!
This morning, I’m back to work and have tons of errands to do…but it’s a great day in the neighborhood.

The start of a new month…my how this year is flying by. Did you all have a good Halloween? Anyone go to or throw any exciting parties? I stayed in last night, handing out candy to trick or treaters. After cleaning my new house yesterday I was too tired to go out for parties. I got myself a nice bottle of wine, made myself some snacks and just relaxed. Trick or treaters were done by around 8p, and the rest of the evening was spent on the sofa watching the NBA games.
This morning the landscape company is coming to clean up the leaves and put some mulch down. I want to get the yard cleaned up, because it won’t be long until it’s time to start putting decorations out for Christmas. Yes…I said Christmas. It’s hard to believe that it’s less than two months away. The stores are already putting out decorations, cards and wrapping paper. This just serves as a reminder that I’ve yet to get my shopping finished. Oh well, I need to get settled in my house and then I can focus on the holidays.
